About The Position
Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented and experienced Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This position is recruiting for full-time nightshift in our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). All NICU staff at Saint Luke's North are cross-trained to postpartum and newborn care, to attend deliveries and provide transitional care and support for all newborns, and to the level II NICU.
Requirements
- 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
Nice To Haves
- at least 1 year of acute care/inpatient nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegates tasks appropriately.
- Identifies hospital resources.
- Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
