About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the night shift. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, including every third weekend rotation and rotating holidays. The NICU is a Level III unit with 35 beds, emphasizing family-centered care and a single-room setup. The role involves occasional floating into Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units. Requirements

  • Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Level III/IV NICU setting.
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Current BLS through AHA.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with at least 18 months of experience within NICU clinical specialty (with parameters) may be eligible for a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients in a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
  • Work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • Rotate working every third weekend and rotating holidays.
  • Float to Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units as needed.
  • Participate in community involvement opportunities.
