About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department at High Point Medical Center. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care. The nurse will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience. The Emergency Department provides care for all ages, including advanced stroke and heart services, and features 34 acute beds, 6 Super Track beds, and 4 Behavioral Health beds. While offering a community-oriented environment, it delivers advanced capabilities, managing most stroke cases on-site and treating myocardial infarctions through interventional cardiology services.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Less than 1 year of RN experience
