About The Position
CentraCare invites passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Neuroscience Spine team. CentraCare offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth, including mentorship programs for new nurses and leadership development for experienced nurses. Our Neuroscience Spine staff practice within the team nursing model and consider teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe, quality, and compassionate patient care. The Neuroscience Spine Unit is a 45-bed unit consisting of 8 Neuro Progressive Care Unit beds and 37 general neuroscience patient rooms. We treat patients who have had Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, and Neuro-medical diseases and disorders. In addition, we serve stroke, seizure, multiple trauma, and traumatic brain injury patients. As a step-down ICU and Neuro unit, no two days are alike. Awarded certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center based on our strong commitment to provide evidence-based, quality stroke care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in MN.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or MSN preferred; BSN required within three years.
Responsibilities
