About The Position
The University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Campus is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their team of talented healthcare providers on the Neuroscience unit. The RN will provide care to adult patients with complex medical conditions requiring close observation, monitoring, and interventions. This includes neurological, neurosurgical, ENT, and trauma patients. The team utilizes advanced monitoring with current technology, manages complex medication and infusion therapies, and cares for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit.
Requirements
- MN RN Licensure
- BLS
- AD
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year current medical surgical RN experience in a hospital setting
- BSN preferred
- Certification in a related specialty is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to adult patients with complex medical conditions requiring close observation, monitoring and interventions, including but not limited to neurological, neurosurgical, ENT and trauma patients.
- Utilize advanced monitoring using current technology.
- Manage complex medication and infusion therapies.
- Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit.
