Cedars-Sinai is seeking motivated individuals to join their Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Internship Program starting in January 2027. This 8-week program includes the Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), a web-based orientation program designed for visual and auditory learners. Upon successful completion of the program, interns will have an 18-month work commitment to the unit. The 8SCCT unit is a 24-bed Neuroscience ICU that manages patients with post-procedure neurosurgical needs and those suffering from severe neurological disorders requiring critical care. ICU nurses at Cedars-Sinai are highly trained in critical care, providing specialized nursing care to patients with life-threatening issues. Their practice involves careful assessments, planning and implementing care plans, providing intensive therapy, operating life support systems, collaborating with the critical care team, and advocating for patients.
