About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a Neuro Stepdown unit. The RN will care for patients requiring close neurological monitoring and intermediate-level care following neurological illness or surgery. The role focuses on managing complex neuro patients while monitoring neurological status, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient stability. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, high-quality care in a progressive care environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments.
• At least 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact license at time of submission.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Recent supervisory reference for submission.

Nice To Haves

• PCU or Progressive Care experience is preferred.
