About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Neuro ICU, requiring 36 hours per week on night shifts. Weekend shifts, specifically Friday and Saturday nights, are considered. The role requires the nurse to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Certifications required include BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only). Essential skills include IV start, telemetry, ventilators, and intracranial pressure monitoring. Epic experience is also needed.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license.
- 2 years of previous experience.
- Previous travel experience.
- BCLS certification (AHA only).
- ACLS certification (AHA only).
- NIHSS certification (AHA only).
- Proficiency in IV start.
- Proficiency in Telemetry.
- Proficiency in Ventilator management.
- Proficiency in Intracranial Pressure Monitoring.
- Epic experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Neuro ICU.
- Work 36 hours per week on night shifts.
