About The Position
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 26-bed unit that cares for premature and sick neonates. The NICU provides special procedures such as lumbar punctures, endotracheal intubation, umbilical vessel catheterization, thoracentesis, partial and double volume exchange transfusions, and phototherapy. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
