About The Position

In the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) at Deaconess Gateway, you'll care for the hospital's most critically ill patients, partnering with intensivists, surgeons, and specialists to provide life-saving care when patients need it most. From complex medical conditions to high-acuity surgical recoveries, every shift brings meaningful challenges that demand critical thinking, confidence, and clinical excellence. This 13-bed ICU is designed to support both exceptional patient care and caregiver efficiency, featuring private rooms and a collaborative environment where nurses are trusted, respected, and empowered to make a difference. Specialized training in critical care, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and advanced cardiac monitoring helps nurses build expertise while caring for some of the most complex cases in the region. For nurses who thrive under pressure and want to make an impact when it matters most, MSICU is more than a unit—it's a calling.

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license

Nice To Haves

• Specialized training in critical care
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Advanced cardiac monitoring skills
