About The Position

2 West A is a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities that focuses on patients with renal and urological diagnoses. The staff has expertise in managing patients post prostate surgery, renal stones, surgeries on the bladder and kidney. The staff is adept at 3-wa catheter irrigations, bladder scans, and incontinency procedures. The patients admitted to this unit range from young adulthood through geriatrics. Admissions may also include other medical-surgical, telemetry overflow.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to work weekends
• Ability to float to units of equal or lesser acuity
• Must not reside in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris counties.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with renal and urological diagnoses.
