About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Telemetry Neuro/Stroke Unit, 2 East. This is a Full-Time position working 36 hours per week on Weekend Nights (Friday-Sunday). The primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and managing the overall care of patients. The unit fosters exceptional teamwork and collaboration to ensure the best patient care. The 2 East Neuro unit is a 21-bed med/surg/stroke unit known for its exceptional teamwork and family-oriented atmosphere. It offers a prime learning environment and the opportunity to become a NIHSS (Stroke Certified Nurse).
Requirements
- ADN required
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Experienced RN's and New grads welcome!
