About The Position

Registered Nurse – Mother Baby, traveling assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date 09/28/2026 for an 8-week assignment with guaranteed hours and a 12-hour night shift (12x3 rotation) in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,430 to $1,514 per week, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Mother Baby specialty
BLS for Healthcare Providers required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred or required per unit policy
Travel assignment with no locals within 50 miles of the assignment location
Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or eligible for licensure in the state
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet holiday coverage requirements
Prior experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Mother Baby workflows

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Mother Baby unit
Monitor maternal and neonatal status, recognize changes, and respond appropriately
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and hospital protocols
Perform newborn assessments, administer routine newborn care, and support lactation and parental education
Collaborate with the care team, document accurately in the medical record, and assist with discharge planning
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, and respond to emergencies as needed
