About The Position

The Mother Baby Unit is a 27 bed, couplet care unit. The nursing team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, family-centered care for parents and newborns. We support our families through one of life’s most meaningful journeys by focusing on breastfeeding support, education, and after discharge resources. The nursing team has a strong commitment to patient experience, quality outcomes, and teamwork. We have a collaborative team culture rooted in shared governance and encourage professional growth through certification and clinical ladder. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
