About The Position

The RN provides specialized nursing care to the post-partum patient, including the newborn infant. The Mother Baby RN is responsible for working as a team utilizing the multidisciplinary approach to provide nursing care adapted for each individual patient needs, based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The RN is also responsible for supervising, coordinating and delegating to personnel who participate in the provision of care, to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met.

Requirements

Current CA Registered Nurse License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
1+ years of Post Partum RN experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Bilingual in Spanish
Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit
RNC-MNN certification
CLC, CLE or IBCLC certification
