About The Position

This role involves leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the Mother-Baby Unit, ensuring all actions align with the highest safety standards and organizational excellence. The Registered Nurse will coordinate a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure patient care is seamless, holistic, and focused on the best possible clinical outcomes. This includes monitoring and interpreting patient conditions in real-time, acting as a vital link between the patient and the medical team through proactive communication and precise documentation. Additionally, the nurse will advocate for the patient's journey by initiating and managing comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a safe and successful transition from hospital to home.

Requirements

  • Certified BLS Provider specializing in Health Service Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. OR military CPR-First Aid training.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at date of hire required.
  • Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience required
