About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby Obstetrics unit, working night shifts. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will effectively communicate patient information to the healthcare team, collaborate on patient goals, and evaluate progress. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. A relocation stipend is available based on mileage. Relevant Work Experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program: Nursing (Required)

Responsibilities

Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.

Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
