About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Laconia, New Hampshire. This role is suited to an experienced acute care nurse with advanced telemetry expertise who can deliver patient care, monitor cardiac conditions, administer specialized therapies, and support patients in a collaborative hospital setting. The schedule is night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with three 12-hour shifts per week. Pay is $2,100–$2,376 per week.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire or Compact RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Advanced Telemetry experience.
• Successfully pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with a score of 80% or higher.

Nice To Haves

• Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer Cardizem and Insulin drips, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver patient education.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Float to assigned units as needed while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
