About The Position

The MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will be part of a dynamic and rapid admission unit specializing in general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. This unit features a 10-bed capacity with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1, emphasizing efficiency and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurg or Telemetry nursing specialty.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a high-turnover environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proof of nursing license verification via Nursys is a must.
• Work history/resume without any gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist relevant to the MedSurg/Telemetry specialty.
• Professional references.
• Certification cards for BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to an assigned patient group within a fast-paced environment.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions based on individual patient needs.
