About The Position
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in our Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit, focusing on providing exceptional care to an adult and older adult population. This is a 32-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:5. Responsibilities include experience with trauma patients, administration of heparin drips, and managing all acute medications as ordered.
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Documented experience in medical/telemetry nursing.
- Completion of competency checklist.
- Proficiency in using EPIC EMR is essential.
- Candidates should be comfortable with the technical aspects of nursing care and utilize appropriate technology in daily operations.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with specialty equipment such as gait belts and geriatric chairs desirable.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or NICHE training is a plus.
