About The Position

The MedSurg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is critical in providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population within a dynamic clinical setting. This role involves managing both medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced, rapid admission unit. The unit consists of 10 beds and focuses on the care of general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The patient turnover is rapid, resulting in a unique and challenging work environment.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the MedSurg or Telemetry specialty required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment options.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
