Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse
About The Position
This is a 14-week contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. The role is located at 80 Jesse Hill Jr Dr SE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303. The nurse will work the night shift for 36 hours per week on a 10-bed Rapid Admission Unit. This unit experiences rapid patient turnover and primarily serves general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The position requires a nurse with at least 2 years of experience in the specialty, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The nurse will be responsible for holiday coverage, including Thanksgiving Day or the day after, and Christmas Eve & Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Resume/work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
- Complete skills checklist.
- Provide references.
- Provide certification card.
- Provide Nursys license verification.
- Complete demographic information.
- Provide badge-appropriate photo.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Rapid Admission Unit.
- Experience with a 5:1 patient ratio.
