This Inpatient acute care unit offers comprehensive care for a variety of patient needs, including medical/surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care. It is equipped with advanced technology, including telemonitoring systems, and access to a network of specialists. The unit is well-staffed with a strong, well-rounded support team with dedicated management, supervisors, and multiple nurse educators & coordinators available on every shift. The comprehensive orientation program features evidence-based online education, classroom lectures, and high-fidelity simulation. Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• BLS (can be obtained after offer)
• Diploma in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Offering comprehensive care for a variety of patient needs, including medical/surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care.
• Utilizing advanced technology, including telemonitoring systems.
• Collaborating with a network of specialists.
• Providing care within a well-staffed unit with dedicated management, supervisors, and nurse educators & coordinators available on every shift.
• Participating in a comprehensive orientation program featuring evidence-based online education, classroom lectures, and high-fidelity simulation.
• Receiving personalized, tailored orientation and career development, such as cross-training or dual department roles.
