About The Position
MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for its Telemetry Unit. This unit focuses on providing excellent patient care while also prioritizing the well-being of its nursing staff. The unit encourages nurses to practice at the top of their license, utilizing research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Opportunities for clinical instruction and further learning are available through the Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency program. The hospital welcomes applications from student nurses and recent graduate nurses.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- ASN/BSN
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Practice at the top of their license using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as part of the Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency.
