Seeking a professional and self-motivated Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, support interdisciplinary collaboration, and assist with overall unit operations in a hospital setting. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Ability to care for patients across varying age groups
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- In-state travelers must reside more than 250 miles from the facility
Nice To Haves
- Recent Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Med Surg patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support patient safety and quality care initiatives
- Serve as a clinical resource within the nursing unit
