About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit, which features a 30-bed capacity and a diverse patient population. The selected candidate will provide compassionate care to Med/Surg patients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a mixed Med/Surg environment.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1 to ensure personalized attention and care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, medications, and progress towards recovery.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide education and support.
