About The Position

Hedrick Medical Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit. We are a 21-bed unit, with the flexibility to care for up to 4 ICU-level patients as needed. Our team sees a broad range of patient cases, primarily adult populations. This is a Part Time Night position, working from 7p-7a.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of Missouri (or compact license).
2 years Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process.
Coordinate and implement the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
Delegate appropriate tasks and provide supervision to other patient care staff.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure documentation and care practices comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Demonstrate clinical proficiency and maintain professional standards in all aspects of patient care.
Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
Delegates tasks appropriately.
Identifies hospital resources.
Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
