About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse group of Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a mixed Medical/Surgical unit.
• Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, post-discharge care, and follow-up instructions.
