About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. This is a 30-bed unit that caters to a diverse patient population with a mixed range of Medical and Surgical needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to timely care delivery.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to Med/Surg patients.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and support staff.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition promptly.
- Assist with patient assessments and create care plans accordingly.
