About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and will care for patients with conditions such as DM, Renal issues, COPD, abdominal rule outs, and cancer patients not receiving current chemotherapy. The unit does not care for surgical patients. The facility is a Magnet & Teaching Hospital with a Level I Trauma Center and a total of 1,266 staffed beds.
Requirements
- 2 Years of experience
- ACLS certification
- BCLS certification
- Pass Relias EKG exam
- Must be able to sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract
- Must have a 75 mile radius rule for local candidates
- Must have a license that is not pending
Nice To Haves
- MS/Tele experience preferred
