About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit specializing in stroke stepdown care. As part of the nursing team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, and pulmonary diseases.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing with stroke stepdown experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (can be obtained prior to start)
- Active NY RN License and all active RN licenses
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC
