About The Position
The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. This role involves reviewing and documenting care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. The nurse is expected to follow professional standards of care and apply evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. The ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients is also a key aspect of this position.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire
- Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution
