About The Position

Baystate Health is seeking a medical telemetry inpatient Registered Nurse to join their team in Springfield, MA. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with a variety of medical concerns, including acute or chronic conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, infections, behavioral health issues, neurological and circulatory impairments, kidney disease, and diabetes. The unit has 32 beds and has implemented nurse-driven change projects. The Manager is dedicated to professional growth and the nursing model of care, with a close partnership with the Physician Medical Director.

Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Diploma in Nursing (Required)
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients diagnosed with a variety of medical concerns.
• Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in the nursing field.
• Provide care for patients aged 22 to 100+ with common diagnoses.
• Manage patients with acute or chronic conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, infections processes, behavioral health, neurological & circulatory impairment, kidney disease, and diabetes.
