About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse with Stroke Stepdown experience for a fast-paced acute care unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, prior travel experience, and the ability to manage a diverse adult patient population with complex medical conditions. This role requires flexibility, strong assessment skills, and experience working in a high-acuity Med/Surg environment utilizing Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical RN experience required
• Stroke Stepdown experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required (may be obtained prior to start)
• Active New York RN license required
• NURSYS verification required for all active RN licenses
