Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical ICU
About The Position
Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join their Medical Surgical ICU team. The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. The organization, HealthPartners, is a nonprofit, integrated health care organization providing health insurance and high-quality care at over 90 locations. They also bring together research and education through HealthPartners Institute.
Requirements
- Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
- Current ICU RN experience required
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
