Registered Nurse | Medical Onocology
About The Position
CentraCare has an incredible opportunity in the Rice Memorial Hospital Cancer Center for a skilled nurse to join their team! The Cancer Center is an outpatient department within the hospital. Responsible for direct/indirect patient care and teaching through the nursing process. Caring for patients during their chemotherapy and infusion treatments, patient assessment, central line management, venipuncture, administration of chemotherapy and other IV medications. Provides care to patients under direction of provider within scope of practice. Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
- AED/CPR training required.
- Acquire Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) cert within 2 years of hire required.
- Communication/documentation skills.
- Nursing Assessment skills.
- Comprehensive clinical nursing knowledge, personal management and crisis management.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of experience in field preferred, not required.
- Infusion experience preferred, not required.
