About The Position

Join the Indiana University Health Schwarz Cancer Center – Medical Oncology Ambulatory Clinic, where RNs deliver compassionate, patient-centered oncology care in a collaborative academic environment. This part-time, day-shift triage role is scheduled every Thursday and Friday, managing patient calls ranging from medication refills to oncologic emergencies, while also assisting with FMLA paperwork, order entry, and other delegated clinical tasks. Build meaningful, long-term patient relationships while supporting continuity of care within a nationally recognized health system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
