The Medical Imaging Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. Responsibilities include assessment, preparation, monitoring, sedation management, patient education, and coordination of care to ensure a safe and positive patient experience. The Medical Imaging RN uses evidence-based practice, advanced technology, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of imaging procedures across different body parts (excluding the heart). This position requires a commitment to high-quality care, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating closely with the healthcare team. You may also rotate through sedation areas and assist with emergency procedures as needed.
