About The Position

This role involves delivering exceptional bedside care by aligning clinical practices with established organizational protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient comfort. The nurse will drive optimal recovery outcomes by diligently monitoring patient conditions, executing physician orders, and updating individualized care plans as health statuses evolve. The position also requires orchestrating cross-functional collaboration as the primary coordinator across medical disciplines, ensuring the entire healthcare team remains seamlessly aligned on patient needs. Additionally, the nurse will advocate for patient safety through real-time, accurate documentation and communication of critical condition updates to physicians and team members, and facilitate seamless patient transitions by proactively assessing discharge requirements and collaborating with families and healthcare teams to support long-term healing at home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Prior ICU experience
