About The Position

Per Diem Staffing Systems is one of California's leading healthcare staffing agencies with over 30 years of experience. We specialize in Travel & Per Diem Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and Allied Healthcare positions. Stanford Hospital is seeking a Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract. This position involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends. The hiring manager is looking for a Med/Surg/Tele RN with cardiac experience, and preference is given to those with experience caring for post-op ortho/spine patients. Candidates must pass an EKG Exam with 85% or better. To be considered a traveler, candidates must live 60 miles outside of Palo Alto.

Requirements

• Current CA RN License
• Current BLS & ACLS (AHA)
• Current NHISS Cert
• 3 years of Med/Tele experience
• Pass EKG Exam with 85% or higher (Stanford allows 2 attempts)
• EPIC Skills
• Must live 60 miles outside of Palo Alto to be considered a traveler

Nice To Haves

• Experience with caring for post op ortho/spine patients
• BSN

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative ortho/spine patients.
• Administer patient care in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and management.
