About The Position
This Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse opportunity is full time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. This dynamic individual will provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Requirements
- Current NV nursing license
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification (within six months of employment)
Nice To Haves
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment
- Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
- Consistently completes hourly rounds with purpose to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs. Rounds with purpose including pro-actively evaluating the environment to ensure it is patient friendly and patient is safe.
