About The Position

Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota. This role is located in a region known for its numerous lakes and recreational opportunities, approximately 125 miles north of Minneapolis. The Medical/Surgical Unit cares for a variety of patients including orthopedic post-operative patients, fracture and repair cases, post-surgical patients from various specialties, and medical overflow patients. This position involves working 60 hours per pay period, every third weekend, with 12-hour shifts available during both day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) rotations. A hiring incentive is available for this position.

Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
BLS certification within one month.
ACLS certification within one year.

Responsibilities

Organize and deliver comprehensive care by managing all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Act as a team leader by delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their licensure, training, and role specifications.
Play a crucial role in advancing the facility’s and Essentia’s mission and goals, making a meaningful impact on the community we serve.
Adhere to the standards set by the Joint Commission and other relevant federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
