About The Position

ATC Healthcare of Las Vegas is seeking experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurses to support rehabilitation facilities in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. As part of ATC's staffing network, you'll receive full employer-of-record support — including payroll, workers' compensation, and malpractice insurance — while delivering high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Nevada RN license (or multistate compact license valid in Nevada)
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred/required depending on unit)
Minimum [1–2] years of Med/Surg nursing experience
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and documentation skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced rehab/post-acute environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care setting
Experience with geriatric patient populations
Familiarity with [specific EMR system, if known]
BSN preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary rehab team
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge/home-care instructions
Document patient care accurately and timely in the facility's EMR system
Respond to changes in patient status and escalate care appropriately
Coordinate with physicians, therapists (PT/OT/SLP), case managers, and ancillary staff to support rehabilitation goals
Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations and safety standards
