About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical unit is responsible for providing patient care and coordination of nursing care for a designated group of patients.
Requirements
- Compact or Alabama RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 1 year of Medical Surgical experience required
Nice To Haves
- Cerner experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care according to the unit's policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
