What You'll Do As a Medical/Surgical RN, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population while serving as an essential member of the healthcare team. Key responsibilities include: Deliver safe, high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Coordinate and direct nursing care based on established clinical practices and standards Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions Advocate for patients while promoting safety, quality, and compassionate care Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes Coordinate care, communicate results, and support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS certification upon hire

One year of previous clinical nursing experience
