About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical department at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS. The position is full-time, with day shifts. The nurse will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care aligned with organizational protocols and clinical standards, implementing and adapting patient care plans, executing physician and nursing orders, maintaining a focus on patient safety and therapeutic outcomes, and collaborating in discharge planning for successful patient transitions.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities
