About The Position

This part-time, nights position provides direct clinical patient care. The role assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and unit level. The role is responsible for the supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire.
AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree
2 years in acute care for Med/Surg
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (for RN in Behavioral Health, must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department)
ACLS (AHA) must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the unit (for Dialysis Department)
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (for Behavioral Health Unit)
