About The Position
Porter Medical Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join their busy Medical/Surgical Unit. This unit cares for medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients, offering a broad range of nursing skill practice. The hospital is described as a high-acuity, fast-paced environment located in Middlebury, VT, with a supportive, community-centered atmosphere. They also have a Birthing Center that averages nearly 400 births annually. This is a union-represented RN position.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- BLS required
- ACLS required for specific departments
- At least 1 year of hospital RN experience
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care to medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients.
- Practice a broad range of nursing skills.
- Work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
