About The Position

7 North is a 30-bed Medical-Surgical Unit dedicated to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, including general medicine, respiratory, renal, cardiac, and oncology. The unit focuses on providing compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring the highest quality outcomes for a diverse patient population. It fosters a supportive, family-like atmosphere emphasizing teamwork and open communication, where dedication to patient care is valued and significant impact can be made.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience (RNs with less than 1 year of RN experience – Please apply to job postings that include “New Graduate RN” in the job title.)

Responsibilities

• Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
