About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills and experience caring for medical and post-surgical patients.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Missouri RN License or Compact RN License.
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience.
- Strong Med-Surg clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse adult patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical and post-surgical patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Supervise and support nursing support staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
